Appreciation Day event to thank legislators and community supporters 

Below, Commissioner Kincannon and Commissioner Morris thanking the 35th legislative district Senator and Representative for their help in acquiring $40,000. in capital funding from the 2024 budget to help with emergency dock repairs.

Friends of the Port of Hoodsport Dock 

The Port of Hoodsport would like to invite you to an Appreciation Event 
at the Port of Hoodsport’s dock and pier to meet with the Port 
commission, State legislators, members of the community and friends of 
the dock. 
Thanks to your ongoing support and signatures of the Capital Funding 
Letter of Support urging our state Legislature to invest in this 
community asset, the Port received funding to make emergency repairs and 
reopen the dock for use. 
We have scheduled an event for Friday October 4th at 1pm to be held at 
the Port of Hoodsport’s dock and pier, with refreshments at the local 
Potlatch brewery immediately following. 
We hope you can join us.
